The St. Croix Valley Sexual Assault Response Team provides forensic medical care, education, protection and advocacy for victims of sexual assault in Western Wisconsin. They, and the communities of Pierce and St. Croix County, joined Taproot, Inc. to create an educational movie about this topic and the options that are available to victims. High School drama students and community members offered their time and talent to this production. It tells a fictional, though accurate, story of one young woman's experience, how she processed it and actively participated in her own healing journey. Interwoven throughout the movie are the most up to date facts and options available to victims of sexual assault, presented in visual metaphors and action oriented scenes.

Sexual Assault Response Teams (SART) are available throughout the country. Local hospitals and law enforcement agencies can assist in finding one close to any location.
